Brother GX 37 Review
Beginner sewing machine
Overall the Brother GX37 sewing machine has some good features and some that are problematic.
I like this machine for the following reasons:
- With 37 different stitches, you can complete small, everyday jobs, making simple apparel, or and dresses, there’s a stitch on this machine for all of it
- A automatic needle threader – let’s face it, this just saves time and frustration!
- Easy to thread and has clear diagrams to support beginner sewers
- Top loading bobbin is easy and the clear cover allows you to see what’s going on

Is the Brother GX37 recommended for beginning sewers?
Overall, I think you could be better off buying a machine that has automatic buttonholes as struggling with this style can be off putting and can easily ruin your garments! The same can be said for the problem it has sewing across the bottom of a zipper – it really makes your project look amateur.
Sews through most materials be careful with heavier fabrics
